We’ve been loving some New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs of late and this particular Matariki isn’t offending. But if we’re being honest (and we’re nothing if not honest), it was just a smidge “meh” for us. Citrus and mineral on the nose, this super pale, almost green Sauvignon Blanc is nicely acidic with notes of green apple and apricot, but a little on the wispy side. Overall we think it’s okay, but we also think there are better Sauvignon Blanc options at the $16.50 price point.
